We do a LOT of custom handmade but we make using CAD modelling software, but we don’t outsource to overseas where factory workers, not jewellers often design with numerous design faults. As 3D renderings are big it is impossible to understand how your ring will look in actual size, so our extremely experienced jewellers will go through your design with you to explain and using our extensive design range, and can demonstrate the actual size of your design elements. Wax models can help but are difficult to see the complete look due to the dark, matt finish wax models and the changes due to the casting process and the cleaning up, filing (removing the course cast finish) and final shaping.

Real jewellers who don’t outsource can also ensure all materials used in your jewellery are conflict-free.

As such, the price of handmade artisan engagement rings can be reasonable, but can climb quickly when designs require more time and materials. But true quality bespoke engagement rings may not be more expensive than some retailers, and can offer more personalisation and customisation options.
